    Mauricio Figueras

    Co Founder & President

    About Mauricio Figueras

    In 1993, Mauricio founded IMS with the vision of making it the leading marketing communications agency for the Information Technology segment in Latin America.  He leveraged over ten years of experience in marketing communications and governmental relations from his days as Legislative Analyst at the Office of Hispanic Affairs for the State of Florida legislature and from his tenure as Director of Public Affairs & Government Relations with Ackerley Communications of Florida.

    At IMS, he handles new business development and has been instrumental in strategic direction to provide customers with consistent and comprehensive programs across the region.

    Mauricio holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the School of Business at the University of Miami.

    About Sissy Figueras

    Sissy Figueras co-founded IMS in January 1994. With a Degree in Acting from Universidad de Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and with her experience in the entertainment industry, she has contributed her knowledge, vocal performance abilities and script writing skills to produce commercials for TV and Radio, corporate videos, and voice-overs.

    She also develops and coordinates events for our clients in the Latin American region. In addition, translates press releases and develops press kits for events

    About Yvette Machado

    Yvette is a bilingual, highly motivated and driven PR and events professional with more than 10 years of experience working with leading IT companies and executives in the Latin American market. She enjoys working with different nationalities in a fast-paced environment, while establishing and growing client relationships.

    In 2010, she was promoted to Regional Account Executive. Machado is in a key account management role working with each of the IMS local offices in Latin America to ensure consistent public relations messaging.     About Ivette Quinones

    Ivette joined IMS in 2004 as Digital Services Assistant in charge of managing and coordinating online activities for the agency’s clients. In 2011 she was named Social Media Manager, responsible for regional development and implementation of innovative, effective and comprehensive social media strategies for our clients.

    Quinones has been instrumental in creating and implementing successful social media programs for clients such as Wacom and Adobe, while keeping up-to-date with evolving technologies in online social networking, the blogosphere, search tools and Web 2.0.

    About Mariana Lievano

    Mariana is part of IMS team in Colombia since 2011. As PR Account Executive, she manages the planning and development of communications strategies and efforts on behalf of the agency’s clients in Colombia and Ecuador.

    Before IMS, she worked as communications specialist for Banco Colombiano de Mercadeo y Publicidad, as well as in TIGO Colombia.

    About Ana Cristina Rojas

    Ana Cristina joined IMS in 2004 and currently serves as Regional Account Executive for Central America.

    Graduated in 1994 of Mass Communication Sciences at the University of Costa Rica, and with a history of 15 years in journalism and public relations, Ana Cristina worked in her early years at the National Chamber of Agriculture and Agribusiness (CNAA), and in Actualidad  Económica magazine where she joined as desk editor and business analyst, covering areas that led her to win the Costa Rican Bridgestone-Firestone Investigative Journalism award on competitiveness, in 2000.

    She has worked also for Departamento de Comunicación del Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA) based in Costa Rica and has being part of El Financiero (Editorial Group La Nación). Before joining Interamerican Marketing Solutions she served for Comunicación Corporativa de Centroamérica y Caribe (Ketchum affiliate).

    About Claudia A. Barrozo

    Claudia holds a BA in Public and Institutional Relations from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), and is an active member of the Professional Council of Public Relations of Argentina.

    She joined IMS in 2012 and handles all planning and implementation of PR strategies and media relations in Argentina and Uruguay for technology clients such as TOTVS and Panduit. In addition to media rounds and client events, she also conducts media trainings, and serves as liaison specialist with clients, regional offices and third party representatives.

    About Jazmin Silva

    Jazmin is a Public Relations professional with extensive experience in strategy and management of communications programs for local and international technology companies. She joined IMS in 2011 and currently serves as Director of Account Services in Chile, in charge of coordinating efforts for the agency clients in Argentina, Chile and Peru.

    She holds a Bachelor in Science of Social Communications, Journalism Major, from the Universidad Gabriela Mistral in Chile; and has earned course diplomas in Corporate Communication, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as in Business Marketing from Universidad de Chile.

    About Agustina Mitjavila

    With over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing strategies in the Corporate Communications & Technology Telecommunications market, Agustina is in charge of strategic and administrative direction of the local subsidiary of IMS in Argentina, Paraguay & Uruguay.
